Rural Area Women's Wellbeing Coach

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Rural Area Women's Wellbeing Coach. As a key member of our multi-agency team, you will provide vital holistic and trauma-informed women's services to females with multiple complex needs.
About the Job
You will be required to drive a transit-size vehicle, which will serve as a safe and welcoming space for women to meet with you and other professionals. Your role will involve working alongside other professionals to offer person-centred support to a caseload of service users, focusing on addressing a range of issues faced by women in rural areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete trauma-informed assessments and develop action plans to support service users
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including Councils, Police, and Fire services
- Provide support and supervision to volunteer Peer Advisors
- Engage successfully with people who have complex needs, are/have been victims of abuse or exploitation, or reluctant to discuss their needs
- Deliver one-to-one and group coaching solutions to support service users in achieving positive outcomes
Requirements
- Experience of working with women and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes
- Relevant qualification(s) to a good standard or be working towards one (inc. A level standard or above in any aspect of social care, advice work, youth work, etc)
- Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload
- Ability to assess clients' needs and provide tailored, person-led support through action planning, and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A full clean Driving Licence is essential for this role, along with the ability and confidence to drive automatic and manual Ford Transit size vehicles
