Senior Transport Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Transport Planning Manager to join our Transport Planning team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This role offers a flexible working arrangement with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and the option of adjusted start and finish times.
About the Role
As a Senior Transport Planning Manager, you will be a key member of our Scotland Transport Planning team, responsible for delivering a wide range of projects across the private and public sector. You will collaborate with other teams throughout the business and oversee, manage, input, and deliver bids for various opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of transport planning projects, ensuring successful outcomes for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the development of business strategies and growth plans.
- Mentor and train less experienced colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- At least 10 years' experience in transport planning.
- Demonstrable technical knowledge in transport planning, including business case development, active travel, and public transport.
- Experience in project management, bid submissions, and contract negotiation.
- Chartered status with a relevant professional qualification or equivalent.
