Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of transport planning projects, ensuring successful outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement transport planning strategies.
  • Oversee the management of bids for various opportunities, including negotiation of contracts and appointments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other partners.
  • Contribute to the development of the team's longer-term business strategy.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years' experience in transport planning.
  • Demonstrable technical knowledge in transport planning, including business case development, active travel, and public transport.
  • Experience of undertaking project management and project director roles.
  • Extensive experience in bid submissions and contract negotiation.
  • Chartered status with a relevant professional qualification or equivalent.
