About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of our students' skills and knowledge. The Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, providing feedback to students, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the learning objectives and assess student progress.
  2. Provide constructive feedback to students both written and verbally, ensuring they understand their strengths and weaknesses.
  3. Attend meetings, communicate effectively with parents, and share best practices within and beyond the department.
  4. Lead enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom, promoting student engagement and interest.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  1. A PGCE with a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent international qualification.
  2. An up-to-date DBS certificate.
  3. Exceptional subject knowledge, including expertise in the British Curriculum.
  4. Maintaining exceptional classroom practice and collaborating creatively with colleagues.

The estimated salary for this position is £59,200 per annum, based on the teacher pay scale from M1 to M6, dependent on experience.
