Job Title: Commercial Insurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Insurance Specialist to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a Commercial Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional insurance solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Understand the insurance needs of clients and provide tailored solutions.
  • Grow new and existing client and insurer relationships.
  • Work closely with Board and Account Executives to provide advice.
  • Act as a mentor and reference point for technical assistance.
  • Work within agreed compliance and regulation guidelines.
  • Handle new and existing commercial insurance risks.
  • Deal with quotations, renewals, MTA's, policy issue, etc.
  • Assist in driving a high performing culture.
  • Understand a client or prospect's business, situations, opportunities, and key challenges.
  • Manage senior relationships and negotiate complex placements with the insurance market.
Experience:
  • Experience within the commercial insurance broking marketplace.
  • Knowledge of most cross classes of commercial insurance risk.
  • Ability to identify appropriate placing markets.
  • Experience of pricing and designing programmes.
  • Grow new and existing client and insurer relationships.
  • Work closely with Board and Account Executives to provide advice.
  • Preferably CII qualified or working towards the CII qualification.
  • A good knowledge of the insurance market in order to address client and technical issues.
  • Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • Good presentation abilities.
  • Act as a mentor and reference point for technical assistance.
