Marine Conservation Specialist

Tetra Tech RPS Energy is seeking a Marine Archaeologist to join our Marine Consenting & Environment team, supporting client projects in the offshore wind and other coastal sectors.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a deeply experienced marine consenting and environment team, delivering offshore infrastructure projects in complex marine environments.
The successful candidate will be based in one of our offices located in Chepstow, Edinburgh, Woking, Aberdeen, or London, and will have the flexibility to work part-time if desired.

As a Marine Archaeologist at Tetra Tech, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions for challenging projects, working closely with our project managers to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage data relevant to marine archaeology and human environment topics for input into reports and projects
- Develop an understanding of how marine development impacts marine archaeology and human environment topics, providing specialist advice to clients
- Aid in compiling specialist advice for clients on marine archaeological and environmental topics
We are looking for a highly skilled Marine Archaeologist with:
- A good understanding of EIA, Marine Planning, and Marine Archaeology
- A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Marine Archaeology or a related field
- Experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, and industry-specific packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
