About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Porthaven Care Homes. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standard of cleanliness and hygiene that our residents deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and tidy environment for residents, including bedrooms, communal areas, and public spaces.
  • Perform various housekeeping and cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver an exceptional housekeeping service.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess great attention to detail, high standards, and be motivated to work as part of a team. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but full training will be provided. We also require you to be reliable and committed to making a positive difference to the lives and wellbeing of each of our residents.
