We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services to children in care, and their families. This will involve conducting thorough assessments, coordinating multi-agency approaches, and building positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication and analytical skills. You will need to be confident in your ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners to deliver positive outcomes for children and families.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with vulnerable children and young people, and have a strong understanding of the complexities of the care system. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing competing demands.

As a Social Worker at Northamptonshire Children's Trust, you will be part of a supportive learning culture, where you will have the opportunity to influence change, challenge others, and share your expertise.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,890 - £43,857 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:

  • SWE Registration paid yearly (social care colleagues)

  • 28 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank Holidays (pro rata for part time) and an additional 5 days, after 5 years
