Exciting Opportunity for Controls Engineers

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team as an apprentice. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for developing control solutions for our systems and applications, working on-site with customers, and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of allocated work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop control solutions for our systems and applications
  2. Work on-site with customers to ensure safe and timely delivery of work
  3. Report completion to company procedures and customer satisfaction
  4. Approximately 80% of customers are industrial, with the remaining 20% being Civil Engineering

Requirements:

  1. HND / Degree or equivalent apprentice training in electrical/electronic engineering
  2. Proven experience in a similar role (highly desirable)
  3. Knowledge & understanding of Siemens S7 (TIA Portal) desirable
  4. Proven Experience in PLC Programming - Ladder, High Level Programming such as SCL (highly desirable)
  5. Experience or knowledge in WinCC and HMI Designs
  6. Functional Safety and Safety Programming experience desirable
  7. CAD Experience (AutoCad, Eplan, Solidworks) would be an advantage
  8. Knowledge of Electrical controls legislation (Regs, LV Directive,) is essential
  9. Microsoft 365 (Office Tools)
