Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of projects, managing budgets, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the operations of the construction branch, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to budgets.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with commercial managers to ensure P&L, budgets, and deadlines are met.
- Ensure the highest level of service and quality is maintained, while controlling costs and creating value for clients.
- Implement strong health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of management, supervisors, operatives, and office staff.
- Report directly to the divisional director and contribute to the success of the contract.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive knowledge of the construction industry and experience managing planned maintenance frameworks.
- Proven track record of managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects, and problem-solving in complex situations.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislations and regulations.
