About the Job

Frasers Group is looking for an Employment Relations Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a dynamic environment and make a real difference in the lives of employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Support HR Business Partners through proactive generalist support on various employee relations issues.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice on company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Develop a positive employee relations approach by coaching and upskilling managers to fulfill their people management responsibilities.
  • Offer operational support and advice on employee relations matters such as disciplinary actions, grievances, and appeals.
  • Contribute to redundancy consultation processes and TUPE where necessary.
  • Proactively manage absence cases, identify resolutions, and monitor KPIs to propose preventive measures.
  • Manage an allocated case load of employee relations matters.
  • Support departments/teams through organisational change and embed new structures and processes as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment legislation to provide sound guidance to management.
  • Collaborate with the Management team to drive performance on key people metrics.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a similar ER/HR role.
  • Experience handling ER cases including disciplinary actions, grievances, appeals, absence management, and redundancies.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation including GDPR.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Resilient, flexible, assertive, and confident in approach.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a busy workload.
  • Excellent stakeholder, people, and change management skills.
  • Good analytical and systems skills.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Problem-solving ability in a fast-paced business.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £52,000 - £62,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
