We are seeking an Administrative Accounting Specialist to join our team.



Job Description



This role involves working alongside the property department and reporting into an accounting supervisor.



You will be part of the wider global Property and accounts teams based at the group's head office in Shirebrook, Notts.



Responsibilities include:




  • Ensuring completion of month-end processes within deadline;
  • Maintaining global property databases;
  • Analysing prepayments and accruals against a budget;
  • Identifying potential errors and creating monthly reports against accounting standards;
  • Ad-hoc project analysis and reporting;
  • Supporting multiple departments across the business;
  • Working with external consultants on implementation of systems and improvements;
  • Processing the monthly costs for all of our properties as part of a team of 7.


Required Skills and Qualifications



To be successful in this role, you should have:




  • Minimum 1/2 year's experience in a related role within a finance function;
  • Working towards or ambitions of completing one of ACCA/CIMA (study support provided);
  • Hardworking and willingness to learn;
  • Minimum intermediate Excel skills and be confident with formulas;
  • Organised and determined to succeed.
