Exciting opportunities have arisen for Electrical Controls and Instrumentation (EC&I) Design Engineers to join the prestigious Rolls-Royce Submarines.

About the Role

This is a fantastic chance to be part of a leading team in propulsion system design and development for the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine fleet. You will work closely with mechanical, systems, and EC&I engineers, providing essential support from other functions as needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking all design tasks, from scoping and blank page design to authoring substantiation and safety documentation, supporting procurement through the manufacture, test, and supply of components.

  • Production of technical reports/operating manuals
  • Development of detailed plans and estimates to meet business objectives
What We're Looking For

We are seeking highly skilled individuals with:

  • Project or Technical Co-ordinator experience in a service / engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Electrical controls and instrumentation design experience, and an understanding of electrical design principles
  • A good understanding of a design process from scoping to delivery
  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent level of continuous professional development and experience

The ideal candidate should have experience of design work related to a submarine NSRP and hold a UK nationality. Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
