Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Pharmacy Team Lead to join our team at North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking individual to take on a leadership role in our dispensary setting.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and management skills, with a strong background in pharmacy practice. They will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacy technicians, managing workload, supervising staff, and ensuring quality and activity targets are met.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position, with a competitive salary range of £43,143 - £56,009 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of pharmacy services and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

As a Senior Clinical Pharmacy Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of pharmacy technicians in a dispensary setting
  • Managing workload and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Supervising staff and providing coaching and guidance to ensure they reach their full potential
  • Ensuring quality and activity targets are met, and identifying areas for improvement

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective patient care, and will be expected to stay up-to-date with best practice and guidelines in pharmacy services.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • BTEC level 3 in pharmaceutical science or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • BTEC Level 4 in dispensing accuracy checking or equivalent
  • NVQ A1 workplace assessor or equivalent
  • Management experience in pharmaceutical services
  • Experience of medicines management services in an NHS context
