Cost Estimator and Controller

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Cost Estimator and Controller to join our team at beBee Professionals in Edmonton. The successful candidate will have expertise in cost estimation and budget management.
Responsibilities:- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects and develop detailed quantity requirements.
- Budget Management: Monitor construction budgets and ensure expenses are tracked and managed effectively.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to secure the best pricing for our projects.
- Project Cost Review: Regularly review and update project costs as the construction work progresses.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- Prior experience as a Cost Estimator or Financial Analyst is essential.
- The ideal candidate will have proficiency in cost estimation software and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills are also necessary.
- The salary for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
