At beBee Professionals, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in the United Kingdom.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation, ensuring project financial efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for large-scale construction projects.
  • Analyze and report on project costs throughout the lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, leveraging expertise in construction regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets, minimizing financial risks.
  • Identify and assess commercial risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project targets are met, delivering exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, preferably from a reputable institution.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry, demonstrating leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices, with proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
  • A full UK driving license, enabling easy travel to project sites.
