Job Summary:

Educators Wales is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Work Placement Specialist. This is a part-time position that requires excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To establish relationships with local employers to secure work placements for students.
  2. To provide ongoing support and guidance to students during their work placements.
  3. To maintain accurate records of student progress and placement details.
  4. To contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to work placement.
About You:
  • A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or Childcare.
  • 5 GCSE passes (grades A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of work placement monitoring and vetting or willingness to undergo training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Estimated salary: £25,458 - £27,713 per annum.
  • 28 days pro-rata annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • A Local Government Pension Scheme with an average employer contribution of 21%.
  • 2 staff well-being days.
