The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director and be responsible for the management and growth of the finance team, as well as statutory and internal reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and present monthly and quarterly management accounts to senior management and stakeholders
• Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Analyze key financial metrics to inform business decisions and drive growth
• Ensure service charge accounting is up-to-date and fully reconciled
• Maintain the integrity of finance ledgers and ensure accuracy across all financial reports
• Develop and implement regular cash flow projections to inform business planning
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Review VAT/CIS and other statutory compliance requirements
• Develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiencies and enhance team performance
• Mentor and develop members of the finance team to improve skills and performance
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with extensive PQE experience in the real estate sector, with a proven track record of team management and leadership. Excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of Excel are essential for this role.
