Job Title: Compliance Surveyor – Passive Fire Protection

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Surveyor to join our team at CLC Group Ltd. As a Compliance Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our sites comply with FIRAS / BM TRADA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out monthly audits of site documentation to ensure compliance with FIRAS / BM TRADA requirements.
  • Involvement in all FIRAS audit inspections.
  • Feedback on training requirements for operatives to ensure all relevant courses and site required qualifications are maintained and up to date.
  • Manage all site survey requirements, including inspecting compartmentation, carrying out or managing door surveys, and producing reports on Robust details and dimensions for QS to price on.
  • Estimate timescales and skill sets required for any remedial work.
  • Report on site conditions, including access and limitations.
  • Attend management meetings and client meetings as required.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to site operatives and management where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Suitable passive fire protection qualifications.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS.
  • Asbestos Awareness.
  • FIRAS accreditation to carry out and certify/sign-off works.
  • CSCS Card holder.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of fire protection works and processes and products.
  • Conversant with systems such as Bolster and Site Audit Pro.
  • Inspect and sign-off works to ensure compliance, including intrusive surveys.
  • Able to take informed decisions on compliance issues and to formulate compliant solutions.
  • Able to liaise with site operatives and site management where appropriate.
  • IT proficient – Microsoft Office.
