We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our Projects & TAR team based at Grangemouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating construction activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical input to design, safety, planning, and constructability reviews
  • Manage projects where Petroineos is the principle contractor onsite, in accordance with CDM Regulations
  • Conduct SHE & Safe System of Work audits
  • Review 3rd party contractor key site documentation to ensure compliance with Petroineos standards and requirements
  • Manage communications and interfaces between teams, including daily area coordination meetings, site meetings, and toolbox talks
  • Establish, maintain, update, and provide ready access to key construction & safety documentation
  • Complete or assist with onsite quality checks
  • Facilitate safe access and egress to the construction site through Traffic Management Plans
  • Ensure that TQ's are raised and proactively resolved for changes, errors, omissions, or inconsistencies in the design information
  • Provide progress reports to Project Managers, Cost Engineers, Purchasing, and Planners
  • Keep suitable records of site activities and conditions, including weather, deliveries, and the impact of any delays

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of construction legislation, practices, standards, and techniques
  • Experience of working with third-party construction contractors and contractor management
  • Working knowledge of the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) 2015
  • Technical knowledge relevant to own discipline, including an understanding of legislative requirements and construction standards
  • CDM Regulations Awareness, Effective Communication and Influencing Skills, Risk Awareness, Self-Management, and Team Working
