Job Title: Construction Estimator Trainee

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team as a Construction Estimator Trainee. The successful candidate will work closely with our Commercial Manager and Key Account Managers to deliver commercial projects in line with overall framework contract margin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interim valuations, variations, final accounts, and internal weekly progress reports detailing hours spent/earned.
  • Ensure full submission of all contractual notices is always being strictly adhered to, utilizing the Unifier software provided to effectively administer the NEC4 Contract.
  • Compensation Event Quotations.
  • Subcontract costs against allowances, Labour Allocation sheets, monitor Prime Costs to ensure project costs are aligned to achieve contract margin.
  • Control of Risk management techniques.
  • Subcontract orders and project tenders and pre-contract information in conjunction with Work Key Account Managers.
  • Monitoring of material purchases to ensure materials are bought within tender allowances, where possible.
  • Manage the effective commercial delivery of projects in line with overall framework contract margin.
