Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Disability Assessor. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments of individuals' health and work capabilities.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £39,375 - £41,500 per annum, plus an excellent bonus scheme and comprehensive benefits package.

Job Description

As a Disability Assessor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting phone and face-to-face assessments of claimants' health and work capabilities
  • Reviewing medical evidence and health questionnaires
  • Compiling detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)

You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year's post-registration experience in a relevant adult setting
  • Active registration with NMC or HCPC
  • Strong communication and assessment skills, with proficiency in typing and report-writing
Training and Development

We offer a comprehensive 6-week training program, covering topics such as assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, and report writing.

Location and Working Hours

This role is based in Swindon, with hybrid remote options available. You will work Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with full-time and part-time positions available after completion of the training period.
