Pharmacist, Medicines Advice and Governance Specialist

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Pharmacist to join our Medicines Advice and Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines across our trust.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on medicines-related matters to healthcare professionals across the trust. This will include developing and implementing medicines policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as providing training and education to staff on medicines-related topics.
You will also be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our medicines governance strategy, working closely with other teams across the trust to ensure that our medicines-related activities are aligned with our overall strategic objectives.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist with a strong background in medicines governance and advice. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of medicines-related policies and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality medicines governance and advice services in a healthcare setting.
