Job Title: Lead Teacher in Religious Education

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Teacher in Religious Education to join our team at Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading and teaching Religious Education to our students, promoting a culture of excellence and high expectations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for Religious Education and a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing Religious Education lessons, as well as leading and managing a team of teachers and support staff.

You will be expected to:

  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging Religious Education lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning
  • Contribute to the development of Religious Education policies and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Religious Education lessons and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with other subject leaders and teachers to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum
