Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Community Learning Tutor to join our team at Bath College. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning courses for adults at various venues across Bath and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver courses for adults with a high standard of teaching and learning
• Plan and deliver specialist sessions using appropriate teaching methods in line with Ofsted standards
• Support, advise, and assist learners to help them progress through the course by providing clear personal objectives and developmental feedback
• Ensure that contextualized personal development is embedded into all course planning and delivery
• Adhere to all quality processes within RARPA guidelines
• Lead course planning and development ensuring that the provision meets the needs of all learners and there is timely completion of the course and registers
Requirements
• Teaching Qualification at Level 3 or above
• At least a Level 3 in area of specialism or study
• Equivalent of GCSE grade 4 (Previously C grade) or above in English & Mathematics
