About the Role
The Supported Living Service is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join their team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to adults with learning disabilities and autism, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide person-centered support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to achieve the best outcomes for service users.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each service user.
- To provide support with daily living tasks, personal care, and social activities, promoting a sense of community and inclusion.
- To work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of service users.
- To maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and guidelines.
- To participate in training and development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and support.
