Maintenance Engineer

Red Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's busy manufacturing plant. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure effective execution of maintenance tasks and projects.
- Collaborate with production staff to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and allocate resources accordingly.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs and contractors to ensure satisfactory performance and delivery.
- Implement and maintain a culture of safety and quality within the maintenance team.
- Apprenticeship or industry-recognized qualifications in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with production staff.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex maintenance problems and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of plant operation principles, methods, and processes.
