Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Community Recovery Services team as a Support Time and Recovery Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with mental health needs and contribute to the transformation of our community mental health services.

Main Duties

As a Support Time and Recovery Worker, you will work closely with the Care Co-ordinators, Clinical Lead, and Team Leader to support the mental health needs of service users. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing mental health needs and implementing individual plans and outcome measures
  • Providing practical support with activities of daily living essentials
  • Working with partner agencies to promote service user recovery
  • Developing and implementing therapeutic interventions underpinned by the Care Programme Approach
  • Managing a caseload of service users with varying levels of complexity
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Good general education to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Evidence of training and development in mental health and social care
  • Good IT skills and ability to work with electronic records
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative
  • Understanding of mental health illnesses and early warning signs of relapse
  • Ability to respond in a professional manner to challenging behaviors
