About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Location Manager to join our team at Anchor, a leading provider of care and housing for older people. As a Location Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our locations, providing exceptional service to our residents, and promoting a sense of community and belonging.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the location, ensuring that all aspects of the property are well-maintained and that residents' needs are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the management of communal areas, including lounges, guest rooms, and kitchens, to ensure they are clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Partner with our property colleagues and contractors to ensure that residents' homes are well-maintained and repairs are completed to a high standard.
- Manage the location's budget and service charge accounts to ensure financial stability and transparency.
- Connect with residents to understand their needs and preferences, and provide support and guidance to help them access health and social services.
- Promote inclusion and social events within the location and the wider community, and encourage residents to engage with Anchor's resident involvement initiatives.
- Build resident confidence by ensuring their views are acted upon, managing expectations, and delivering on commitments.
- Resolve complaints in a timely and effective manner, ensuring that residents are kept informed throughout the process.
