Job Description

Henderson Scott is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce CPQ Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading on Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Billing administration/BAU tasks within Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations.
  • CPQ and Billing Administration: Lead on Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Billing administration/BAU tasks within Salesforce.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management: Follow and define documentation standards, leading knowledge article reviews on CPQ and Billing specifics to ensure quality and appropriate knowledge is accessible to the team.
  • Technical Delivery: Manage the technical delivery of custom integrations, and data migration elements of Salesforce implementations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholders to foster strong relationships and collaboration.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a core SME for all aspects of Salesforce CPQ and Billing, providing comprehensive knowledge and guidance.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership to the Finance teams on Salesforce best practices, ensuring effective system use.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with 3rd party consultants for successful project outcomes.
  • Data Governance: Support data governance to maintain a structured and efficient Salesforce environment.
  • Org Transition: Work within the current org as our client transitions to a new org end-state.
  • BAU Changes and Workload: Configure and manage BAU changes and workload.
  • Gearset Deployments: Assist with Gearset deployments into various Salesforce environments.
  • Multi-Cloud Solutions: Work within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Requirements:
  • Significant Salesforce Admin Experience: Significant hands-on Salesforce Admin experience with demonstrated experience as a Salesforce CPQ and Billing SME.
  • End-to-End Enterprise Experience: End-to-end, lead to cash enterprise level experience within Salesforce utilising customised Salesforce Billing and CPQ processes.
  • Relevant Certifications: Relevant Salesforce certifications; including CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Admin.
  • Environment Management: Solid experience in environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies. Gearset and BitBucket preferred.
  • Complex Salesforce Orgs: Proven experience in complex Salesforce orgs, demonstrating adaptability, a good understanding of Salesforce data structure to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Multi-Cloud Solutions: Understanding of multi-cloud Salesforce solutions using the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, AppExchange, and complementary technologies.
  • Data Integration: Knowledge of data integration activities, having worked within M&As is a bonus.
  • Integration with Business Systems: Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, Kantata and NetSuite).
  • SOQL and APEX: Competence in SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) for effective data retrieval and manipulation, and some experience with APEX and ability to read code.
  • Apex Triggers and Configuration: Use of Apex Triggers and configuration in the context of sandbox environment refresh and dataloading.
  • Service Contracts and Docusign: Understanding of Service Contracts, Docusign, and Conga.
  • Advanced Flows: Skilled at creating, designing and implementing advanced Flows within Salesforce.
  • Agile and Kanban Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Kanban methodologies for project management. JIRA.
