Senior Ecologist Role

The Landscape Partnership is looking for a Senior Ecologist to lead our ecology team in Bedford, London, or Woodbridge (Suffolk). As a senior ecologist, you will play a key role in shaping our team's strategy and delivering projects that make a real impact.
We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including an estimated annual salary of £40,000-£50,000, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis senior ecologist role involves managing teams, developing projects, and maintaining relationships with clients. You will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines, including landscape architecture and arboriculture, to deliver projects that meet the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in protected species surveying, biodiversity net gain assessments, and habitats regulations assessments. They should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to write clear and concise reports.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement team strategies to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to deliver projects.
- Conduct protected species surveys, biodiversity net gain assessments, and habitats regulations assessments.
- Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service.
- A first or second-class degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
- Full membership of CIEEM.
- A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience after becoming a full member of CIEEM.
- Extensive experience in protected species surveying, biodiversity net gain assessments, and habitats regulations assessments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A comprehensive compensation package with an estimated annual salary of £40,000-£50,000.
