Are you a motivated Java Developer looking for a new challenge?

We are excited to partner with the UK's leading retail software provider to find a talented Junior Java Developer to join their Hertfordshire-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Java Developer with 1-3 years experience to grow and develop both professionally and personally in a modern, agile, and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Java-based web applications using Spring Boot and Microservices
  • Working closely with technical architects and development managers to design and implement new features
  • Contributing to testing, configuration, and release processes
  • Participating in design and implementation decisions
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • BSc in Computer Science from a Russell Group University
  • 1-3 years commercial experience with Java and web application development
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud hosting
  • Experience with containerisation, build tools, and working knowledge of XML or JSON
  • Bonus: frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue
