Junior Java Developer

We are seeking a talented Junior Java Developer to join our rapidly growing Software company in Hertford. As a Junior Java Developer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality software alongside technical architects and Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop well-documented software using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement software solutions.
  • Contribute to the testing and release processes to ensure software quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with novel technologies and research new trends in software development.
  • Participate in the design and specification process to ensure software meets requirements.
Required Skills:
  • Java programming language.
  • XML or JSON data formats.
  • JSP, Servlets, JavaScript programming languages.
  • ANSI SQL and JDBC database technologies.
  • J2EE container such as TomCat.
  • MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, or Maria DB databases.
Desirable Skills:
  • React, Angular, or Vue JavaScript frameworks.
  • Inventory or warehouse management systems.
  • iOS or Android mobile app development.
  • AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Docker or Kubernetes containerization.
