About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our team at Phixtechnologies. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading project teams of consultants in delivering technical-focused solutions.

You will bring a strong and broad foundation of technical capability to both provide a solution and support the rest of the team in doing so. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that the projects you lead are delivered to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Work as a team leader across 1-2 project teams, providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance to a team of consultants.
  2. Documentation: Ensure the production of consistent, concise and easily understood documentation, both by producing it and by ensuring what is produced by the project team is of that standard.
  3. Quality Assurance: Ensure delivery of high-quality, best-practice functionality, both through delivering this yourself and by running code reviews and providing guidance to the project team.
  4. Requirements Definition: Work with customer stakeholders and the team architect to define and refine requirements and build a best-in-class solution.
  5. Customer Relationship: Work alongside customer stakeholders to build a working relationship throughout the project process, ensuring they are informed at all stages and bought into what is being delivered.
  6. Technical Challenges: Take ownership of technical and design challenges throughout the delivery of a project and work with the team and client to deliver fast and effective solutions.
  7. Employee Development: Participate in internal initiatives to develop our employees or enhance the quality and width of services provided by Phixtechnologies.
  8. Pre-Sales Support: Join pre-sales calls to gain an initial understanding of customer needs, contribute to the investigation of issues, and contribute towards building a project proposal alongside an architect.
Requirements
  1. 3 years of Professional Services or Consultancy experience, including time spent at a Senior or above level, including experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
  2. Dev Ops experience, including Environment management and design, delivery processes, and experience with automation tools such as Gearset are desirable.
  3. Understanding of estimation best practices on both a project and user story scale.
  4. Ability to work across multiple workstreams and manage your time accordingly.
