Job Title: Experienced Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Hampshire Wheelchair Service team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex mobility needs.

About the Role:
  • You will assess the mobility needs of adults and children with complex conditions, and prescribe manual and powered wheelchairs with associated accessories.
  • You will supervise junior staff and provide clinical guidance to non-clinical colleagues.
  • You will work closely with clinical and operational teams to deliver high-quality service performance and achieve measured outcomes.
  • You will liaise with service user groups, stakeholders, and local services to facilitate joint working and improve service user outcomes.
  • You will contribute to the development of internal training resources and support external training programs.
Requirements:
  • You must be a registered Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Clinical Scientist with the HCPC, or a registered Nurse with the NMC.
  • You must hold a full current UK driving licence for a manual transmission vehicle and be willing to drive Ross Care vehicles.
  • You will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
