About the Service

Strathbungo Housing Support Service, located on the south side of Glasgow, is looking for passionate individuals to join our team. We thrive on professional growth, innovation, and the unique contributions of each team member.

About the Role

You will work on a 1:1 basis assisting individuals with day-to-day living, encouraging them to live happy, meaningful lives and achieve their personal goals/ambitions both at home and in the wider community. Your role will be centred around building trusting relationships as a foundation to assist with practical tasks such as:

  • Support within their own homes with personal care, housework, administering medication, meal preparation, support with finances, companionship, etc.
  • Liaise with families and other professionals to provide the best quality care.
  • Promote independence and individuality according to their Support Plan.
  • Work as part of a team, effectively communicating with the staff team, families, and individuals supported.
