Role Overview

The role of an SEN Administration Officer at Remedy Education involves providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of a SEND school in Southwark. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills, able to manage data effectively and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visitor Management: Provide a warm welcome to visitors, ensuring they receive hospitality and are signed-in/out efficiently.
  • Data Management: Update SEND records and SIMS database, maintaining pupil data and preparing reports as required.
  • Medical and Medication Registers: Manage and update medication and medical records, ensuring accuracy and availability.
  • SEND Documentation: Assist the SENCo in assessing SEND needs, creating EHCP documentation, annual reviews, and presenting data for senior leadership.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate school visits, organise photography sessions, and maintain relevant communications.
Requirements
  • A degree from a leading UK university (1:1 or 2:1).
  • Previous experience working with children and SEND support.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive approach, and confidence in handling behaviour-related situations.
  • Proficiency in managing data and a detail-oriented mindset.
