We are seeking a Strategic Fundraising Manager to join our team at WWF-UK. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating £5m+ giving opportunities within our portfolio, working closely with experts to scope and build winning propositions for new £5m+ opportunities.

About the Role

You will identify appropriate funders and leverage major support from corporate partnerships, private-sector partners, and philanthropic audiences. This will involve building long-term, effective relationships with trusts, foundations, and high net worth individuals, as well as collaborating with colleagues and senior leaders to identify global opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the implementation of strategic fundraising plans to achieve transformational major gifts from foundations and philanthropists (£250k+)
  • Lead and motivate an inter-disciplinary, cross-organisational team to deliver high-quality proposals and cases for support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external senior leadership, trusts, foundations, and high net worth individuals
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in fundraising, with a track record of success in securing transformational major gifts from foundations and philanthropists (£250k+)
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £56,297. We also offer a full benefits and rewards package, including annual leave starting at 26 days per year, rising to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays, flexible working options, and regular wellbeing initiatives.

This role is hybrid and requires you to be in the office 20% of your contracted hours. The job is based at our UK head office, the Living Planet Centre in Woking, Surrey, which is one of the greenest buildings in the UK.
