Business Development Manager

Macgregor Cavendish (UK) Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and driving growth in our UK haulage and warehouse services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to expand our customer base and increase revenue
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure seamless delivery of our services and identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition
  • Prepare and present business cases and proposals to senior management and customers
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of business development and sales success in a logistics or supply chain environment
  • Strong understanding of the UK haulage and warehouse services market and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop solutions
