About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Morrison Energy Services. This is a full-time role with the option of part-time working arrangements.

As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing members of the Commercial Team, including Analysts, Payroll administration and Commercial admin. You will also oversee the management of expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong numerical and analytical skills, as well as demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills.

In this role, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to understand financial information and prepare bridges/analysis highlighting key movements between actual and trading positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of members of the Commercial Team
  • Enabling the Contract to monitor expenditure and identify costing saving opportunities
  • Ensuring a robust schedule of activities is in place to deliver Monthly outputs both internally and externally with the client
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Actively participating in client meetings
  • Obtaining & interpreting data and taking a proactive role in helping the senior leadership team understand financial information
  • To prepare bridges/analysis highlighting key movements between actual and trading positions
  • Ensuring Sub Contractors are paid in line with agreements
