About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Bias Engineer to join our team in Cheshire East. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production line, focusing on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the combination of planned and reactive maintenance and technical challenges to ensure maximum line efficiency
  • Perform fault-finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC controlled equipment
  • Attend to breakdowns onsite, ensuring a rapid response on plant equipment and machinery breakdowns
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of automation machinery, including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Apprentice-trained or NVQ level 3 in electrical mechanical maintenance engineering
  • Ideal experience with automated materials handling and packaging machines
  • Production line experience; qualified engineers will receive training and development opportunities
  • A proactive approach to fault finding, commitment to continuous improvement, and personal development
