Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technician to join our team in Crewe. As an Electrical Biased Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the rolling stock fleet at Arriva Traincare Facility.

This is a shift role with a 4 on 4 off / 5 on 5 off pattern, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £27.40 per hour, paid via umbrella.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake train maintenance duties, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Implement safe systems and controls within your area of responsibility.
  • Carry out download diagnosis and fault finding to an intermediate level.
  • Provide technical support at incidents off-site as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a mechanical/electrical engineering environment.
  • Ability to complete records of actions and operations accurately.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, including bio hazards and manual handling.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical publications.
