About the Role

Thurrock Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Practitioner to join our Adult Social Care Services team on a permanent basis. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to residents, working closely with the Community Led Support (CLS) team to connect individuals with their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive social care support to vulnerable individuals, creating opportunities for them to engage with their community.
  • Work collaboratively with the CLS team to deliver services that promote positive outcomes and safeguard the most vulnerable.
  • Support the development of postgraduate qualifications through recognized CPD routes.
  • Enjoy a generous annual leave entitlement, flexible working arrangements, and reflective supervision and management support.
  • Take advantage of excellent training opportunities and an established CPD programme.
  • Undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced plus adults barred list level, at no extra cost.
