About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled SENCO to join our team in Enfield. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in promoting an inclusive learning environment that supports the needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote inclusion and diversity within the school community.
  2. Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to ensure effective coordination of SEN provision.
  3. Provide training and guidance to enhance understanding of SEN and effective classroom strategies among teachers and support staff.
  4. Work closely with external agencies, including educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, and local authorities, to coordinate additional support.
  5. Lead annual reviews of EHCPs, ensuring statutory requirements are met.
