Job Title: Child Disability Specialist

This position requires collaboration with clients to connect them with supportive community engagement and employment services. The incumbent will provide services in the client's home and in the community to support integration and stabilization. All services are provided as part of a comprehensive treatment team, including a doctor, nurses, therapists, and case managers. This position may involve weekend duties to maximize community integration for clients, as well as occasional scheduled duties beyond traditional work hours.

Qualifications:
  1. A Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
  2. LPC or LCSW eligibility is required, with licensure preferred.
  3. Professional and clinical experience in the provision of vocational rehabilitation is required.
Additional Requirements:
  1. A valid Driver's License, good driving record, and the ability to provide own transportation are required.
  2. Exposure to allergenic environments in client's homes, including extreme heat, humidity, dust, smoke, pet contamination, cleaning supplies, etc., may occur.
  3. Exposure to clients with infectious diseases may occur.
  4. The ability to drive for long periods of time to visit clients in and out of the catchment area as needed is required.
  5. The ability to walk distances, climb and descend stairs, maneuver in and out of agency vehicles is required.
  6. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may occur.
  7. The ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds at times is required.
