We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our global health and international affairs efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping our global health policy interests and priorities, as well as developing strategies to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Define and advance CSL's global health policy interests and priorities in collaboration with our cross-functional teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the policy environment around global influenza and emergent respiratory virus systems.
- Partner with our pandemic team to develop strategies and shape global biosecurity policies and approaches.
- Oversee monitoring and evaluation of macroeconomic trends, geopolitics, and major developments in global health policy and international affairs.
- Provide insights and recommended actions to senior leadership on material risks and opportunities.
- Develop positions on global health and international issues in collaboration with our Corporate Affairs team.
- Ensure a coordinated representation on global/international committees and multi-lateral programs.
- Represent CSL at major global forums and foster relationships with global health leaders and the diplomatic corps.
- Manage global health and international platforms to support CSL's policy shaping expertise.
- Develop a focused portfolio of global partnerships to grow our global health priorities.
- Oversee biopharma and plasma access to medicines policy issues at the global and regional level.
- Master's degree in public health, science, global/public policy, international affairs/development.
- 15+ years' experience in public affairs, policy and advocacy, government affairs, communications, and/or global across vaccines/biopharma, government, trade associations, and NGO/MLOs.
- Understanding of international affairs and geopolitics, main global health issues, actors, and processes.
- Experience influencing and shaping global health policies at the national, regional, and global levels.
- Understanding of scientific, clinical, and technical concepts and how they translate to strategic policy risks and opportunities.
- Multilingual.
