Export Logistics Specialist

Job Title: Import Clerk (6-Month Contract)
Location: Birchwood, Warrington
Rate: £20.70 per hour
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
This is a varied role working with freight carriers and internal teams to ensure the smooth flow of goods through our import process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with freight carriers and internal teams to resolve any issues.
- Work within a dedicated imports team of four, as part of a larger logistics team of 25.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in customs (export-related experience acceptable with training provided in imports).
- UK import formalities knowledge
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (knowledge of Ricardo or SAP is desirable)
- Attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to work well within a team and contribute to team morale.
