Customs and Export Administrator Role

Your new company, a leading logistics and export organization, is seeking a skilled Customs / Export administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth cross-border trade, serving a diverse customer base that includes car and vehicle parts, retail, and media sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete forms for HMRC Amendments and accurately fill out and submit necessary forms for amendments and updates related to customs processes.
  • Data Entry into the TSS System, utilizing the TSS (Trader Support Service) system for entry summary and supplementary declarations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulations while handling UK export customs entries, including documentation and compliance checks.
  • Collaborate with the team internally who oversee all shipments from the UK to Ireland.
  • Provide a first-class service for all internal and external customers.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess experience in an export and import environment / customs, with great attention to detail for precise data entry and adherence to customs regulations.

Strong communication skills are essential in order to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and relevant authorities.

What We Offer

Competitive Salary between £28,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

20 days plus bank holidays (increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years).

Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote after the training period.
