About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Sweet Bee Organics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Margin Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining product quality. Analyze and optimize supplier agreements to enhance margins and overall profitability.
  • Supplier Procurement: Identify and establish relationships with innovative and reliable suppliers. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to ensure the consistent availability of high-quality ingredients.
  • Stock Control Management and Forecasting: Oversee inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability to prevent product shortages. Implement effective inventory management practices, demand forecasting, and analyze sales trends to balance supply and demand.
  • Process Improvement: Design and implement robust processes and systems to streamline supply chain operations. Continuously assess and refine processes to minimize disruptions and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and operations teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to support product launches and market expansion.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold the integrity of our products.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role within the wellness or consumer goods industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in margin optimization, supplier management, and stock control.
  • Confident with data analysis and forecasting.
  • Experience using software and tools to manage in-house stock levels.
  • Confident to lead procurement and experience working with raw ingredients and sourcing a large number of raw materials is a huge bonus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CIPS) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong organisational and project management skills.
