About Us

Hup Consulting is a leading provider of consultancy services to the maritime industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our team in the Maritime Advisory department.

About the Role

This vacancy exists for a consultant to work closely with our team and contribute to the delivery of projects. The ideal candidate would be based in London and have a strong understanding of the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultancy services to clients, including due diligence transaction services, investment advisory, port master planning, economics, technical and financial feasibility, market studies, concept and outline engineering design support, and cargo forecasts and project management consultancy services.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Travel overseas for projects, typically undertaking 2- or 3-day client trips.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-level education in an engineering or business-related subject.
  • Proven experience in consultancy/advisory type work.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of all major relevant software packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Previous experience as a consultant, ideally with known and/or recognisable companies in the same competitive sectors.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a competitive pension scheme.
